DER Racing Series was created in 2009 to give local and regional bracket racers the opportunity to race at the world-renowned, Thunder Valley at Bristol Dragway. When track management no longer felt a program was sustainable, Red Whitmore and his family developed a program for the racers, by the racers that is now in its 14th season. DER Racing Series exists to provide racers from all over the Southeast a premier racing experience with a guaranteed purse for each and every event.
